Have gastro-pubs killed the darts scene?
You may be able to sit on a mock-antique leather sofa, eat goat's cheese on focaccia and drink Belgian ale - but the changing face of British pubs could spell the end of a national institution.
The 'thunk' of dart hitting board is, it seems, an increasingly endangered sound.
A survey funded by bookmakers Blue Square found only one in ten people had played the game in the past year, while 40 per cent of men in their 20s had never thrown an arrow in their life.
It blamed trendy new pubs and the decline of the 'good old-fashioned boozer' for the findings....
