News Staff Reporter Rusty Shelton's shot lands in the double bull's-eye, the promised land in the middle of the board that few darts find.
A collective roar perks up the atmosphere in the Wrangler's Saloon in Howell Township. The throw ends the cricket game being played on a recent Monday night. Shelton, a 46-year-old Cohoctah Township resident, participates in an informal dart league that plays Mondays, October through March, at Wrangler's.
"I can't believe that,'' he says to his teammates sitting at a table. "That was pretty cool.''
