Dartoids World 12-24-2010, #darts

Despite a severe case of "Whips and Jingles," the Old Dart Coach Howie Reed (along with Mel Torme) is back this Christmas Eve with holiday wishes, commentary on the first week of the World Championships and a no-nonsense thought or two (with a healthy assist from Anne Kramer) about Dick Allix's recent column in BEN.

From Scotty Burnett
PDC North American Champion
The PDC through Dick Allix’s Bullseye News atricle have gone public with their disappointment in the USA. Our own Anne Kramer has a brilliant reply, that I fear will go unnoticed in the eyes of the PDC.

#darts review of Colin Osborne #darts by Unicorn by double16

#darts Justin Pipe is some kind of newcomer on the #PDC

Circuit and the third player sponsored by the SOD forum.

He's a very nice person and a really good darter - he won the qualifier for the Grand Slam and qualified for the PDC World Championship over the Players Championship Order of Merit.

As probably not many already know him I talked to him during the Grand Slam.
Here you can find the interview:

#darts - Dick Allix of the #PDC - BEN magazine article - the PDC has spent a total of 9 years trying to grow #darts in America to no avail.

Why has an American Pro Contender not emerged? He asks who organizes darts in America. What do the governing bodies do to further the game and improve the lot of the best players? He goes on to further state how for every sport to exist, it has to make a profit.

Anne Maheux Kramer of sleepykramer.com has a response to the BEN magazine article. There is a comment section available for folks to chime in.
