STOCKPORT’S very own darts master of ceremonies Pete Burns is also looking forward to a hectic 2007.
Pete, aged 60, has been busy calling the shots all over the north west during the last 12 months, and in Holland where darts is still massively popular in pubs and clubs. The bookings for the coming year are flooding in, and Pete is determined to carry on living his dream.
Main man Pete is also set to be busy
And....
WITH just days to go until the start of the BDO World Professional Darts Championships at Frimley Green, Stockport favourite Darryl Fitton is still praying for a dream final against his great mate Tony O’Shea.
Fitton, who reached the semi-finals at Bob Potter’s terrific Lakeside complex in 2004, gets his 2007 campaign under way on Sunday [at 2pm] against Durham county star Phil Nixon, and is feeling confident that he can have another decent run this time around.
