We are nearing tournament time again, don't leave it to the last minute to get your entries in. I have the passes and wristbands in the shop now. If you'd like a flier mailed to you, just let me know.... It is again in conjunction with the Queen Mary Scottish Festival on Presidents Day weekend on February 17 and 18, 2007.
Don't forget to please enclose a stamped addressed envelope for the return of your passes. If not, you'll find yourselves paying to get in to the festival and dart tournament, and paying again to play! We will again have event shirts for sale at the tournament, however if you would like to pre-order one, feel free to do so with size, color and type of shirt preferred (t-shirt or polo). That way I can estimate how many to get. We are starting a little earlier each day as our numbers are growing and we don't want to finish too late in the day, and besides, we don't want to cut into your 'partying after darts' time.
There will be a steel-tip blind draw at the Dolphin Lounge (formally Club Coronado in Anaheim), on Friday 16th February at 8.00pm as a warm up for the weekend. I have switched the events around a little so that the men's events start before the ladies.
The Downtown Holiday Inn is giving us discounted room rates until February 1st, 2007. Don't leave it until the last minute to book rooms either on the QM or at the Holiday Inn. It is always a busy weekend in Long Beach and rooms go quickly. If you book NOW you can always cancel closer to the time if your plans change. There are no discounts on the QM for rooms on Presidents Day weekend. Check their website for details www.queenmary.com
