The youngster has been awarded the final prestigious place in the 2007 Holsten Premier League. Lewis has only been playing top level darts for just over two years but has made a big impression on the big stage and he won the 8th and final spot ahead of the likes of Unicorn stablemate John Part and ‘Hawaii 501’ Wayne Mardle. The 21-year-old from Stoke will line up with mentor Phil Taylor, Unicorn stars Colin Lloyd and Peter Manley, along with Dennis Priestley, Roland Scholten, Raymond Van Barneveld and Terry Jenkins, when the event gets under way in Plymouth on February 1. ADRIAN LEWIS has been confirmed as the eighth and final player for the 2007 Holsten Premier League.

Lewis, who turns 22 on Sunday, was selected by host broadcasters Sky Sports as the second wildcard for the event, which begins on February 1 at the Plymouth Pavilions.

The 21-year-old from Stoke, protege of 13-time former world champion Phil Taylor, makes his debut in the competition which begins on February 1 in Plymouth. Along with world champion Raymond van Barneveld, Lewis receives a wild-card, with the six other participants having earned their places through the ranking system. They are Taylor, Colin Lloyd, Dennis Priestley, Roland Scholten, Peter Manley and Terry Jenkins.
