James Wade got back to winning ways with a confidence-boosting victory at the Scottish Players Championship on Sunday, while Alex Roy ended an even longer drought by winning Saturday's event.
World number three Wade has not tasted success since winning the UK Open back in June, and a difficult spell included a shock first-round exit at the World Grand Prix in Dublin recently.
The left-hander hit top form in Irvine though, as he raced through the field en route to a final showdown with Mark Walsh - which he duly won 3-1. (full article...)
