THE South Tyneside Super League’s pairs competition was played at eight venues.
At the Westoe, John Nichols and Gary Porter beat Craig Braund and Warren Telford.
Peter Watson and Steve Hogg overcame Eric Patterson and Ernie Ives, and Steve Howe (180) and Gary Stephenson defeated Neil Tate and Mattie Booth.
Watson and Hogg then accounted for Howe and Stephenson. (full article...)
