"Over a few smokes and brews, 20 or so darters threw at six dart boards on a recent Tuesday night at Kenna's Korner bar off Westport Road.
The noise volume was up, typical for a bar, but as players stepped up to the line to throw, their opponents quieted down.
'You've got to stay focused and be quiet because they consider it unsportsmanlike conduct to be talking at the line, when someone's throwing,' said Jeff 'Alf' Kochersperger, a member of the Greater Louisville Darting Association's first-place team, the Dirty Dart Dogs.
Adding members is darts league's target"
