HIBBING — Rick Smith toed the line, took careful aim and let go with his dart.
A smile crossed his face as he watched his dart fly true and strike the dart board – which is situated eight feet away – exactly where he wanted it to be. Words of congratulation came from his teammates, lined up behind him watching.
Smith, of Hibbing, is just one of many people in the area who compete in the Tuesday Night Cricket League in the winter months in the Hibbing area. The league is split into two halves, Divisions A and B. On Wednesday nights, the 501 League is held. The leagues are sponsored by Theisen Vending Company.
