Just a reminder to make sure that you have your reservation for the Halloween Open - 9-12 October - Austin, TX
The Wyndham is filling up and the reservation cut-off is 29 September 2008. They are watching the block and adjusting as necessary.
If you cannot get in at the Wyndham, we have created an overflow block at the SpringHill Inn, on the Marriott Row, just to the south. Rate is $89.95 per night. For reservations call 800-314-5079 and request the "CADA Halloween Cup rate.
If you have any problem with SpringHill Inn or with Wyndham, you may contact me by e-mail or at 512-468-5508.
Also, please note that there will be an after-the-tournament blind draw at 300 Austin (formerly the Showplace Lanes) - 9500 block of N. IH 35. Entry fee is $5.00 per player and the bar is adding $3.00 per player. The bowling alley is on the westside of IH 35. Going north on IH35, take the Rundberg exit (it is the one just after the 183 northbound exit). Get into the far right lane of the access road - the third lane out. As you go past Henna Chevrolet, stay in that 3rd lane. It becomes the outside left turn lane. Take the left turn and go under IH 35. Take the right turn just after the Shell station. It should say entrance to Motel 6. There is a small road that leads into the 300 Austin parking lot.
We are all looking forward to seeing everyone, and we are ready for some great darts.
