John Henderson won three sets on the trot to beat Gary Anderson 4-2 in a gripping British Darts Open final on Saturday evening at the Spa in Bridlington.
It was a vintage final that swung both ways and had the Setanta Sports 2 viewers stuck to their seats.
Henderson showed real character after going 2-1 down to win 4-2, hitting a double-ten at the finish to earn a deserved success.
Henderson got to the final by virtue of an easy win over Mareno Michels. The Huntly native was never troubled and won 3-0.
In the other semi, Martin Atkins was just edged out of it by Anderson, who won by the odd set in five.
