Over 150 ladies and their partners turned up to Torrevieja Ladies Darts Organisation’s presentation of medals and trophies held at the Quesada Country Club on Saturday evening at which MC and Coordinator Pam Horton opened proceedings by extending a warm welcome to every one in attendance.
The presentations began with the Hot Shot Certificates for those Ladies scoring 100 or more. This was followed by a special presentation to new members, 43 of whom received Special Ladies League Badges.
Pride of place, however, went to The Wildcats who won the double of both the League Championship and the Diana Lloyd Memorial trophy. (Image 46) while the Players team of the Year went to Charlie’s Angels (Image 39). Of the other major presentations a special award was made by the Organising Committee to the Hot Rock Rockettes (Image 15) and seven ladies, Shirley Edwards, Barbara Warren, Elizabeth Brooks, Pat Rafferty, Margaret Boden, Julie Wilson and Christine Hunt all achieved a magnificent 180 maximum.
