Buccaneers and the Railway Club B remain joint top of Division Two after both won 8-1 for a second week. Railway beat No Hopers with the aid of an Alex Bird maximum. White Hart B are third, followed by Sportsman, who beat Withy Lions 5-4, despite Ricky Williams Jnr hitting a brilliant 158 out-shot, and White Hart A.
On Wednesday night, only one of the three seven-a-side preliminary matches was played after both The Spectres and the New Foresters were unable to field teams. First-division The Jokers beat second-division Railway B 4-3m with the winners’ Adam Ward hitting a 180 in a 14-dart leg.
