Double header

DARTS: It was an early start for Wheatsheaf darts team as they squeezed two matches into one day.

First they faced Sambrook Vaults in the first leg of the Courage Pub Cup competion.

Wheatsheaf will now be 5-4 down going into next week’s final leg despite Taff Jackson hitting a 180 and man-of-the-match Carl Edge throwing outstanding arrows.

Wheatsheaf then faced a Shropshire Super League game against Lamb A.

John Murphy, Carl Edge and Nick Kilroy lost but Che Kerin, Neil Aspinall and Keith Allman all won as the game finished all square 3-3.

Wheatsheaf welcome BDO World Championship semi-finalist Darryl Fitton on March 5.

Tickets are £4 from the pub and each ticket will be put into a hat for a draw to give one punter the chance to play against the Dazzler. (story source...)
