AN ASHBOURNE painter and decorator has been so impressed with the talent of some of the young players within the Ashbourne Town Darts League that he has presented the League with a Shield for the Young Player of The Season.
Since Dawn Routledge took on the role of league secretary, any young players whose overall performance stood out received an award as recognition, so the Steve Rogers (of SR Decor) Shield now gives the young players something to strive for to have their achievement permanently recognised.
