8th Annual Branch 16 (Legion) Tournament.
This weekend was the 8th Annual Branch 16 (Legion) Tournament. Branch 16 is a regular host for darts in Vancouver; they are a fixture here. Known as 49th and Fraser because of the nearest crossroads, Branch 16 is a perfect combination of pub and rec room. This shoot came to be called "Fred's Shoot" as Fred Dryden did the set up and was the director, as far as I know. He refused my help, and most likely others', at the end of today, quite content to take all his equipment down at his pace and chosen time - he did need to relax after all he did today, and on the whole weekend. Curtis McPhie also ran the boards and draws with him. Sorry I don't know the others who formally helped, I am sure there were more. Branch 16 (source link)
