Kota Kinabalu: Fifty-four teams from Malaysia, Brunei and the Philippines are taking part in the three-day Nexus Resort Karambunai Sabah Open Dart Championship, starting Friday.
Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Bolkiah Ismail officially opened the championship witnessed by Datuk Robin Loh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Karambunai Corp-cum-tournament advisor.
The tournament kicked off with the preliminary rounds of the teams' event and on Saturday (today) will be the knock out and the final. The Ladies' Singles will also be played on the same day.
Sunday (Nov 30) will see the start of the Men's Singles event (preliminary rounds to knockout stage) as well as the final of both the Men's and Women's Singles, followed by the prize presentation ceremony for all the events. (story source)
