Fourteen of the region’s top players travelled to the Willenhall Social Club, Coventry, in a bid to make it through to the big day at the Lakeside club in Frimley Green on January 11.
As well as the trip to Surrey, the winner will secure an exhibition evening at their local darts venue, courtesy of former BDO world champion, Ted Hankey.
The overall People’s Darts champion will then have the opportunity to play at the Torremolinos Open as well as two other UK-based BDO darts events.
Additionally, they will also win £15,000 for a charity of their choice as well as £1000 worth of kit and equipment for their local darts pub/club.
