Super-Dart Championship



I am going to start a four tournament, singles championship. I will hold four events at four different locations, in Massachusetts. You do not have to be a MA resident to play. Players will earn points, and money, at each of the four events, the top 16 players in point standings at the end of the fourth event will qualify for the finals.



I’m looking to hold the first event at the beginning of November, the second one the first weekend in February, the third one sometime in May and the last one in August or September. Then the finals will be played in November.

I plan on awarding the finals to the venue that has the largest turnout for their regular event. (See attached paperwork for venue requirements).



The entry fee will be $50 at your first event and $40 at the remaining events. This will be a long format singles event, don’t make other plans it will last all day. All these events will be held on Saturdays and for any venue that is willing I will hold an open doubles event on the Sunday, (you must have played in at least one of the four singles events to play in the doubles events).



The first entry will be broken down into $10 super-dart membership, $25 towards that day’s payout and $15 towards the finals pool. You only pay the one time membership fee to cover you for the year. The other events will be broken down the same without the $10 fee. All host locations will be required to make a $200 contribution, which will be added to the finals pool.



Example: with only 20 players, each event will pay out a total of $500, leaving a total payout for the finals of $2000, ($300 times 4 events plus $800 from the venues). I would fully expect to see more than 20 players at each event.



I will be looking for board sponsors. Board sponsors will be $25 for each event or $100 for all five events, (includes finals event). Single $25 boards will be placed at the next available event. Please find attached sponsor form.



I will start taking pre-registration once the first venue is booked, if you are interested in playing in this event, please register as soon as possible to help us get some idea of how many players we will have.
