CHESHIRE Cheese are the only Premier Division team in the final four of the Carlsberg UK Open League
Winter Team Knockout after another round of surprises.
All the away teams were victorious in the quarter-finals, as Premier outfits Vine A and Horseshoe were
dumped out by lower opposition.
Cheese beat hosts Hop Pole 8-5. Mick Gill registered the only darts victory for Pole, but when Cheese
pair Carl Simcox and Chris Gibson won the pairs game in 23 darts, their side had a 6-1 lead. Pole
pulled back four dominoes wins but Stuart Bloor and Cindy Hough sent Cheese through.
