Cops: Man hits wife in the leg with dart
Nanticoke police say woman reported argument over loud music in house led to incident.
NANTICOKE – A city man was arrested on allegations he stuck his wife’s leg with a wooden dart during an argument at their home late Wednesday night.
John Wojciechowski, 40, of 126 W. Washington St., was arraigned Thursday morning on charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, possessing instruments of crime and resisting arrest, according to court records.
He was jailed at Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 bail.
Nanticoke police said Wojciechowski threw the dart at his wife, Kimberly, after the couple began fighting over the volume of music playing in their home.
A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 5 at Central Court.
