There's one thing I really love about this time of year: darts.
Over the past month or so we had have the choice of two different governing bodies who run darts - the BDO and the PDC.
One is broadcast for Sky, the other for the BBC.
The BDO, who have their annual Championship from the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, are the poorer one in terms of money - and probably quality. But it's the grass roots of the big time darts and over the years the BDO has produced many players who have gone on to emigrate over to the PDC and their big bucks. (full article...)
