I hope I can improve as a player by playing in the tournament, and if I'm playing well then not
even Phil Taylor will beat me.
Mervyn King is delighted to have finally made the Premier League, but is determined not to be an
also-ran and has set his sights on a winning debut in the tournament.
A successful season for King culminated with him reaching the semi-finals of the World Championship at
Alexandra Palace, a run which helped him up to sixth place in the PDC Order of Merit.
