World aces heading back to Bridlington

THE richest two-day tournament on terrestrial TV will be held at Bridlington this weekend.
The 2008 Winmau World Masters men’s finals are broadcast live from The Spa this weekend.

Staged and promoted by the British Darts Organisation, with over 300 players from more than 30 countries, the tournament, in association with John Smith’s, will have record-breaking prize money of £61,000.

Celebrating the 35th anniversary of the oldest established major in world darts, it returns to The Spa, Bridlington after an extensive £20 million re-development of the venue.(full story...)
