Mayor's pairs hits the target for good causes

Players and supporters raised £320 for the Mayor of Leamington's charities in a special pairs competition at Sydenham Club last Friday.
Organiser Andy Barnwell and Nuneaton player Anthony Smith won the title after being drawn together, seeing off Anthony Reynolds and Chris Calder in the final. The trophy was presented by Leamington Mayor Coun

Kailash Chander and North Leamington League chairwoman Jackie Neale.

The evening also featured a grand raffle and an auction of sporting memorabilia, with signed items from top footballers, jockeys and darts players among the lots. (full article...)
