A DARTS star is hoping to follow in his hero’s footsteps when he takes on the world’s best next month.
Mark Salmon, from Roberts Street, Ynysybwl, has qualified for the BDO World Professional Darts Championships which start on January 3 at Lakeside.
And the 45-year-old is hoping to re-create the success of one of Ynysybwl’s most famous sons, Leighton Rees, who lifted the title in 1978. (full article...)
