CAFFREY’S COLD BARROW MONDAY LEAGUE

CENTRAL’S 4-2 win at the Cottages ensured them a three point lead at the top of the snooker league.

Big wins from Mike Wall, Andy Thornton and Dave Smith, along with N Creasy ensured victory; John Tyerman’s 29 and 21 breaks won well, along with Adam Cook.

United’s 5-1 at Greengate A puts them in second spot, with John Reilly, Barry Lowden, Adam Murray, Tony McMillan and Lee Stephens taking the points.

New man P Jardine took Greengate A’s point.

Central A shared the points with visitors Travellers, who had winners in Ken Surley, Russ Postlethwaite and Jonathon Williams. (full article...)
