If Phil Taylor loses this month's world championships it won't be for want of practice. So earnestly is the 13-time champion preparing that we eschewed a conventional seated interview in favour of a brisk walk up an down the oche — defeat for 'The Power' this year would mean three years without a world title, the longest barren spell since he won his first back in 1990.
