MARTIN Adams' bid for a second BDO Lakeside World Darts Championship title ended last Saturday afternoon.
Market Deeping thrower "Wolfie" lost a thrilling 106-minute semi-final clash with eventual winner Ted "The Count" Hankey 6-4.
Adams, making his fifth consecutive appearance in the last four, was in a philosophical mood despite the defeat.
