AFTER a run of three defeats in the Gwendraeth Valley Ladies' Darts League, Cefneithin RFC recorded their first win of the season with a 4-3 defeat of Pontyberem WMC.
It keeps Cefneithin within touching distance of the trio at the top.
Despite their match against Tumble WMC being postponed, New Lodge, Pontyberem remain in second, just a point adrift of Gwendraeth Arms, Cwmmawr, who returned to pole position following a 5-2 victory at Red Lion, Llannon.
Also back to winning ways were Cross Hands Hotel, who beat Ponthenri Social Club 5-2.
Pontyates RFC had to be content with a 5-1 win at Tumble RFC after being deducted a point for turning up a player short.
