GRANTHAM ground out another win after going behind in the opening game, with Ernie Thorpe (average 16.96) losing 30-2.
Spud Taylor (20.31) won well 3-0 but Mark Blackwell (22.97) went down by the same score.

Rich Selby (22.66) went the distance but again double trouble was his downfall and he lost 3-2.
