A DARTS player who overcame serious illness to reach the world darts finals will be playing an exhibition night in Asfordby next week.
Leicester's Jamie Caven will be taking on the cream of the area's darts talent at the Crown pub on Sunday from 7pm. Caven, nicknamed Jabba, because of the four daily injections he needs to combat diabetes, will be warming up for the PDC World Championships which begin at the Alexandra Palace in London just four days after his Asfordby appearance.
