These are just some of the numerous items needed by veterans at the VA Medical Center in Huntington and the West Virginia Veterans Home in Barboursville.
And members of the American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant are doing their part to collect as many donations as possible to help the veterans in need.

Items needed for the West Virginia Veterans Home include deodorant, foot powder, body powder, denture adhesive, non-alcoholic aftershave and mouthwash, cologne, tissues, q-tips, cotton balls, bars of soap, double-edge razors, shoe polish, sewing kits, eyeglass repair kits, wallets, watches, batteries, scratch pads, coolers, instant coffee, creamer and stirrers;
Individual sugar packets, individual hot chocolate, phone cards, movie passes, coffee pots, darts and darts supplies, radios/CD players, DVD players, movies, travel mugs, linens, clothes hampers, laundry bags, men’s pocket T-shirts, men’s underwear, sweatpants and shirts, craft supplies, laundry detergent, individual microwave popcorn, individual snack items and tea bags.
